THE INDONESIA CHANNEL RELAUNCHING OCTOBER 1

Indonesia’s first 24-hour English TV channel is preparing for its digital rebirth.
After quietly launching five years ago, The Indonesia Channel (TIC) is set to unveil a new lineup of programs and presenters on October 1.
“We’ve been preparing fresh content appealing to a global audience with some exciting new faces on our team,” said Arci Fadillah, TIC General Manager.
One of the channel’s most popular programs is “Hot Indonesia”, a weekly talk show that tackles hot topic issues. Joining host Dalton Tanonaka in its latest season will be Sandrina Malakiano, a former TV news anchor and political marketing consultant, and Sandiaga Uno, business executive and recent vice-presidential candidate.
“People have been wondering what’s in Sandi’s future plans,” said Tanonaka, a former CNN and Metro TV news anchor. “Well, they will find out when they watch each week. He has a lot to say”.
Other signature programs in TIC’s new lineup are “Foodiepedia” with chef/host Winnie Kusumawardhani, “I-Pop Playlist” with Jemima Tumewu, and “The Home Team” featuring a weekly soccer match of top-level Indonesian professional clubs.
The Indonesia Channel was created to inform and entertain global audiences with all-Indonesian content. It is under new ownership and management, led by Fadillah, a TV veteran most recently with the streaming service iflix. The channel can be seen on local cable and digital platforms. A free live-stream is available on its website at www.theindonesiachannel.com/schedule. For more information, contact Kiki Handayani at [email protected].
